Hardwood kitchen cabinets are like quality furniture only attached to the wall and exposed to all kinds of hazards such as; water, food, and of course children.
• Clean cabinets as needed with a mild detergent and dry well using a lint-free cloth for both washing and drying. Cleaning Solution: (2 tbsps. of liquid dish-washing soap and 1 gal. of warm water)
• Be sure to wipe up spills, splatters and water spots as soon as they occur and keep surfaces as water free.
• Use cleaners and polishes designed for wood cabinets to clean and protect all surfaces on a regular basis. Typically every other month at a minimum.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners such as scouring pads and powdered cleaners.
1. Toothpaste Method
a. Apply toothpaste regular not gel; scrub in a circular motion.
b. Wipe the wood with warm water and a clean, soft cloth.
c. If any residue remains, wash off with warm water and liquid dish soap.
d. Use a wet sponge wiping in a circular motion to remove excess soap.
e. Wipe off and treat area with furniture polish.
2. Rubbing Alcohol (Use action and apply carefully)
a. Apply rubbing alcohol utilizing a clean, soft cloth.
b. Wipe the wood with warm water and a clean, soft cloth.
c. If any residue remains, wash off with warm water and liquid dish soap.
d. Use a wet sponge wiping in a circular motion to remove excess soap.
e. Wipe off and treat area with furniture polish.
3. WD-40 (Use caution and apply carefully)
a. Apply WD-40 utilizing a clean, soft cloth, scrubbing in a circular motion.
b. Wipe the wood with warm water and a clean, soft cloth.
c. If any residue remains, wash off with warm water and liquid dish soap.
d. Use a wet sponge wiping in a circular motion to remove excess soap.
e. Wipe off and treat area with furniture polish.

d. Use a wet sponge wiping in a circular motion to remove excess soap.
e. Wipe off and treat area with furniture polish.
